Terms of use
Last updated October 25, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Sekka when you use the website, the app on your phone or the browser extension. By creating an account, you accept them and the privacy policy.
The service
Sekka is a tool to keep track of your job applications, follow-ups and interviews. It's free today. Paid features may come later: we'll say clearly what costs money, and you'll never be charged unless you choose to pay.
Your account
- You must be 16 or older.
- Use your own email, and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- One account per person.
What you enter
What you enter stays yours. You allow us to store and process it only to run Sekka for you, as the privacy policy explains. You're responsible for what you enter, so don't add other people's private information without a good reason.
What you may not do
- Break the law, or use Sekka to harm or deceive others.
- Try to get into other people's accounts or into our systems.
- Overload Sekka, for example with automated requests, or copy its code or design.
- Use the extension against the rules of the job sites you visit.
Emails
We send emails about your account, such as confirming your email and resetting your password, and the reminders you can turn off at any time.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Sekka running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, and features may change or end. Keep your own copy of anything important: you can download all your data from settings at any time.
No promise of a job
Sekka helps you organise your search. It doesn't promise replies, interviews or offers, and it isn't responsible for employers' decisions or for other job sites.
Responsibility
Sekka is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as a missed opportunity. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Egyptian consumer protection law.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law prevents it.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, we update the date at the top. If the change is important, we'll email you before it applies. Using Sekka after that means you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms follow Egyptian law, and the courts of Egypt decide any dispute about them.
